Homemade teriyaki sauce

This delicious teriyaki sauce makes a great finishing sauce or marinade. It’s perfect for chicken, salmon or stir fry veggies.

Ingredients:
2 oz sake
3 oz mirin
4 oz soy sauce
3 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp corn starch mixed in a little water (1 tbsp)
Method:
Combine ingredients in a small saucepan. Simmer over medium heat whisking occasionally so sugar dissolves. The sauce should thicken slightly as it bubbles. Store in a jar in the fridge up to two weeks.
